Underage Gambling Policy

Online gambling is for adults only. This policy explains how we keep minors out, how families and the public can report suspected underage use, and what happens when an underage account is identified.

Zero-Tolerance Statement

The minimum age to register an account, deposit funds, place a wager, or accept a promotion on this platform is 18 years, or the higher legal gambling age in your jurisdiction of residence — whichever is greater. There are no exceptions, no “close enough” tolerances, and no parental waivers.

A minor who registers an account by misrepresenting their age commits a breach of our Terms of Service. The consequences are immediate and uniform:

  • The account is closed.
  • All winnings are forfeited. A minor may not lawfully receive gambling winnings.
  • Unwagered deposits are returned to the original payment instrument where lawful and safe to do so. If returning funds is not possible (for example, the original instrument is registered in another adult’s name and we cannot confirm the minor was the source) the funds are placed in escrow pending lawful resolution.
  • Where money laundering or third-party-funding indicators exist, a Suspicious Activity Report is filed under our AML Policy.

Age Verification

Age verification is a layered control, not a single check. We apply it at multiple points in the player lifecycle:

  • At registration. Date of birth is captured and validated against the age threshold for the resolved jurisdiction. Country of residence is inferred from billing address, declared residence, and IP geolocation, and the higher of the local age and 18 is enforced.
  • At first withdrawal. Full identity verification (see our KYC Policy) cross-checks the date of birth on a government-issued document. A withdrawal is never released without this check.
  • Periodically. Identity documents are re-verified at least every 24 months, and out-of-cycle when risk indicators arise (sudden behavioural shift, complaint linked to age, jurisdiction change).
  • On indication. If any signal — a referral, a payment-method mismatch, a complaint, an external data source — suggests a player may be a minor, the account is restricted pending full re-verification.

Where a national or regional government identity-verification database is available and lawful for our use (for example, real-time identity check services offered by certain national authorities), we use it. Where it is not, we rely on the layered document-and-liveness check described in our KYC Policy.

Parental Controls

Parents and guardians have the most influence over whether a minor can access gambling websites. We strongly recommend installing parental-control software on devices used by minors. Reputable options include:

We support these tools. Our domains are categorised correctly with all major parental-filter operators so that activating an “adult content” or “gambling” filter blocks our pages before they load.

If you are a parent who has discovered that a minor in your household has accessed our service through a shared device or a payment instrument registered in your name, please follow the reporting procedure in §4 and contact us immediately. We will work with you to recover unwagered deposits where lawful.

Reporting Suspected Underage Use

Anyone — a parent, a teacher, a friend, a school, the player themselves, or a third party — can report a suspected underage account. We treat every report seriously and confidentially.

How to report: email underage@huli.bet with as much detail as you can safely provide. Useful evidence includes:

  • The username or email registered with the suspected account.
  • The minor’s full name and date of birth (if known).
  • Any documentation supporting the age claim — for example, a school enrolment, birth certificate, or photograph showing the minor.
  • Your relationship to the minor (parent, guardian, teacher, friend).

You do not need to provide your real name to make a report — anonymous reports are accepted and acted upon. However, providing contact details lets us follow up if we need clarification.

Our response timeline:

  • Within 1 working day: we acknowledge receipt and open an internal case.
  • Within 5 working days: we complete an initial investigation, cross-checking the report against KYC records, behavioural signals, and payment-instrument data. If the report is substantiated, the account is immediately restricted.
  • On conclusion: we tell you the outcome (without disclosing third-party personal data we are not permitted to share). If a parent or guardian reported the matter and we confirmed the minor was using your payment instrument, we will tell you what funds we have returned and how.

If Underage Use Is Confirmed

When we confirm an account belonged to a minor, we take the following actions:

  • Immediate account closure. The account is permanently terminated. No restoration is available.
  • Forfeiture of staked funds and winnings. A minor cannot lawfully receive gambling winnings; staked amounts are not returned where they have been wagered.
  • Refund of unwagered deposits to the original payment instrument, provided this is lawful and operationally safe. If we cannot return funds (for example, because returning them would put us in breach of AML or sanctions law), the funds are held in escrow pending lawful resolution.
  • Account-integrity reporting. Any indicators that a third party funded the underage account, or that an adult assisted the minor in evading our controls, are evaluated under our AML Policy. A Suspicious Activity Report may be filed with the AOFA Financial Intelligence Unit where appropriate.
  • Permanent device-and-instrument block. Hardware fingerprints, payment instruments, and contact details associated with the underage account are recorded so the same minor cannot easily re-register.

We do not publicise individual cases of underage use. Personal data of a minor is handled with the highest level of confidentiality, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable child-data- protection law.

Marketing Restrictions

We do not market gambling services to anyone we have reason to believe is under 18. Concretely:

  • All paid advertising channels are configured with adult-only audience targeting and platform-mandated age gates.
  • Affiliates accepting our marketing assets sign undertakings that they will not distribute them on platforms with predominantly minor audiences. Any affiliate channel found in breach is terminated and any commissions earned during the breach are clawed back.
  • Influencer and content-creator placements are reviewed for audience demographics before agreement. Channels with primarily under-18 viewership do not qualify.
  • We do not place advertising on schools, school-related events, or platforms known to host children’s content.
  • All creative assets carry an “18+” visual mark and a responsible- gambling line.
